Not the best

After only 1 year the solar panel could no longer keep up with the battery use. Worked fine until now. I bought a hard wired unit instead.

Fault Quoting on Forever Power, Solar Style

I agree with Andrea Glasper's review. The solar panel does not keep up the charging. The advertising that "Forever Power, Solar Style: Just 1 hour of direct sunlight per day is enough to power Dekco home security camera continuously, completely free from the hassle of disassembly for charging. The built-in battery keeps the juice flowing when night falls or showers hit." is NOT true. It is a fault advertisement.

Not as hassle-free as it says

I just purchased this a couple weeks ago. My understanding of the product description is the solar panel keeps it charged, which is why I went with solar. But that's not the case. After fully charging it, two days later I still had to unmount the camera and plug it into power supply because it went down from 100% to 40%. I live in Texas where there's no shortage of sun. The solar panel is facing full sun 9 hours per day. I also wish it panned up and down as well. It's cumbersome to keep manually adjusting it. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent camera.
